Heritage and Experience combined with the Latest Technology
Janet Ramsey, the owner of Craftwright Quilts, started hand quilting at 8 years old with her grandmother, Hilda. No sewing machine, no rotary cutter, no ruler; just cardboard templates and a pair of scissors. And while the techniques and tools have changed, the key lessons have not – take care and take time because anything worth doing is worth doing right.
Over forty years later, this focus on craftsmanship and technique have not changed. Janet’s skills have grown to encompass virtually every aspect of quilting, and she has and continues to take classes from the world’s leading quilting instructors. She now develops custom digitized quilting designs to both personalize projects and achieve custom quilting results at a fraction of the cost of hand-guided custom quilting using a Bernina Q24 with Qmatic.
